Nebraska Baseball Hall of Fame makes donation to Utica Beaver Crossing Baseball program. Bob Steinkamp and Lynn Chelewski with the Nebraska Baseball Hall of Fame made a donation to the Beaver Crossing Baseball program after one of their Juniors District tournament games at Tri County's Cody Park on July 11, 2014. The baseball complex at Beaver Crossing was totally destroyed by a tornado earlier in June of this year. Numerous tornadoes did a great deal of damage to the entire community. On hand representing the team were team Manager Ryan Scheele, Kelly Hartshorn the head coach, and parent Jeff Cast and Mike Eberspacher. In conjunction with this, tournament co-directors Bill Waltz(Tri County Team Manager) and Jeff Reynolds(Tri County Legion Baseball Organization president) also did a collection for this cause during this event. Utica Beaver Crossing went on to play in the championship, taking 2nd place after losing to Malcom.
